Simply put — I love, connection
I’m a wedding photographer based in South Africa, and I’m a big believer that the best photos happen when people forget they’re being photographed. I’m drawn to real connection and all the beautifully imperfect moments that make a wedding day what it is.
My approach is calm, easygoing, and very much people-first. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, but mostly I’m there quietly observing, catching the things you didn’t even realise were happening.

It’s difficult to even put into words how special it feels to have our wedding day captured so perfectly. Shan and her second shooter truly saw our vision and ran with it. We asked for something intentional and intimate, and that’s exactly what we got (and then some).
We couldn’t possibly be more blown away. Our video feels so us; you can feel the connection through the screen, and our love is captured in a way that feels completely true and authentic. It is also so wonderful that we were able to have one team doing both photography and videography in one. As people who don’t always love being in front of the camera and centre stage, we felt incredibly comfortable on the day. That says everything about how Shan shoots and interacts so gently.
After the ceremony, I even joked to my husband that I didn’t know if Shan was there, because I genuinely didn’t see her or feel a camera presence at all - something I’m so grateful for. I’ve thanked Shan a million times, but capturing such a special day so beautifully truly means the world to us. I couldn’t recommend Shan and her team highly enough.
